Vegan Dining Group
This group is open to anyone who enjoys vegan food, with the proviso that only vegan food is ordered when dining out with the group. The aim of the group is to enjoy great vegan food, to give restaurants an opportunity to learn how to cater well for vegan diners, and to provide opportunities for Christchurch vegans and vegetarians to socialise. The group meets for dinner every 4-6 weeks, in Christchurch restaurants, both veggie and non-veggie. To join, Please email info@vegetarianchristchurch.
Veggie Puffs (GLBTI)
Established in 2002, we are one of Christchurch’s longest running GLBTQ groups. The Veggie Puffs Dining Group is open to all members of the gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans/intersex community who enjoy vegetarian and vegan food, with the proviso that only vegan/vegetarian food is ordered when dining out with the group. Most of our members are vegetarians/vegans or have a veggie partner or just really like veggie food! We meet every 6-8 weeks. We meet for meals in Chch restaurants, both veggie and non veggie. CVC Potluck Group
The Christchurch Vegetarian Centre runs an informal pot luck group a few times a year. We meet on Saturday nights at 6pm and start dinner at 6.30pm. All members of the community are welcome – at a recent gathering participants included a 3-year-old boy and a 92-year old lady! We ask people to bring $3 for venue hire and a dish of vegan food for all to share, as a large number of attendees are vegan. This is the best value meal in town, and a lot of fun! Whole Foods Plant-based Potluck Group
Whole foods group: Better health through veganism. Along with helping non-human animals and the planet, let’s not forget one very important animal you should take care of: yourself! Your own health is crucial and to learn more about a junk-free healthy relaxed vegan lifestyle JOIN today!
The whole foods plant-based (WFPB) diet is based on ABUNDANCE, creativity, passion and compassion:-). This includes unlimited veggies, nuts and seeds, fruits, starches like potatoes,rice, corn, maize,wheat, yummy foods, while excluding highly-processed unhealthy foods like oil, white refined sugar and refined flours.
Highlights of this group are: LOTS of amazing recipes, active lifestyle tips and motivation and inspiring new friends 🙂

Raw Vegan Potluck Group/Ropu Kaimanga Tarauka
Our informal Christchurch Raw Vegan Group meets every month for a good healthy informal raw potluck meal and for other events. We welcome anyone who is thinking about trying a raw lifestyle, is currently eating a high raw food diet, or anywhere in between.
